Its not just Alan West, any prominent or semi-prominent conservative black American is likely to get harshly attacked.

If promoting African Americans is so important to liberal Democrats, why did they spend millions attacking the character and integrity of a war hero, articulate spokesperson and outstanding leader such as Alan West? He escaped from the Dem plantation

All 42 member of the congressional black Caucus in the house of representatives are Democrats. They include old civil rights fighters like John L. Lewis who was almost killed twice by police bashing his head in.

And over 90% of all African Americans, including their top intellectuals like Bob Herbert, Eugene Robinson, Leonard Pitts, et al call themselves Democrats. Virtually all of the black civil rights leaders are Democrats.

For you to think all of these African American's have it wrong after 50 years of fighting for civil rights, and have made a huge mistake and would be better in the Republican party, is so far fetched as to be jaw dropping.

For you to provide one guy West as evidence, who was defeated (in a heavily Republican district) last time because he is sort of crazy and everyone saw it after he spoke for a while is mind boggling. Over 90% of all congress people are reelected.

Last the congressional black Caucus holds great power and respect in the democratic party. As well the democratic party does not allow any racism at all. Not even a hint of racism. And the Democratic pasrty lets the congressional Black caucus define what racism is.

This how you figure reality out?
