The claim that any reduction in the rate growth of government is a cut comes from the 1974 law passed by democrats overriding a Nixon veto that put an end ot Administrative Impoundments. Previously Administrations could simply refuse to spend money earmarked by Congress. This codified that the rate of government budget increses was astronomical. Leftists have been chanting the mantra ever since.

Just as a slightly above average rate fo investment return compounds into large relative gains over time, government growth at excessive rates eventually overwhelms the economy.

It's really just all a big flat out lie to empower and enrich themselves and their jobs are just spouting BS and being able to insider trade, get rich, hang out with other elitists and feel above everybody else.

Why yes it is. In a world where success is earned leftists almost always fail. Only when they grant themselves the right to cheat and steal can they get ahead.
