We have moved on from using price of chicken as an indicator of inflation. From all reports that I have read, there is no indication of inflation from the experts and opinions of people who matter.

We have folks with vested political interests beginning with Jack Welch right down to common folks such as MM, use all sorts of methods to make their political point. But the situation of the ground is very different with consumer confidence riding high and the economic situation on the mend.

So all we are left in the end to discuss after having beaten to death issues like Benghazi, Obama being a termer, all the points raised by MM etc, etc, is that "Did you look at the price of chicken?" :)

I am still wondering why the exchange rate of the dollar shot up in the past two months even though Bernanke has assured his support for ensuring that the US economy bounces back in a healthy way. Don't you think that it the world nations' continuing faith in the US economy?
