I was in the past and some seem to be working on resurrecting it. I think the intent is to deny voting to minorities and the poor who are mostly dems. Voter fraud from impersonation was a non issue with very few convictions. Something like 2 in Maine in 38 years? I think this is all political and nothing else. << Voter suppression used to be a big deal in the south. So even you admit that it is past tense. Then why oppose voter ID or any laws that will insure clean elections? Are you afraid that your side can't win a fair election?
