seeing a good man thrown to the wolves for political expediency is disgusting.

This case gets to the core of what this country is about. If it is about convicting someone to avoid riots, rather than getting to the truth of the situation, then we are truly lost.

In the whole grand scheme of things, isn't it worth it to sacrifice one man's life for the greater good? I mean, it's not like George Zimmerman is anybody special. Nobody is really going to miss him....except......what if it was me in his shoes? Sacrificing one man for the greater good seems like a good deal until it is my son or my Dad or my wife. And that is why this is such a crucial case. This is a case of the people who identify with the neighborhood volunteer who tries to make the world a better place versus the people who identify with a guy who is portrayed as a victim of society, but was really a victimizer.

As this court case has proven, we are on the brink of tyranny.
