Twisted Pair [re: 56K

Mike,

Thanks for the info. It must me nice to take a course and have a
State-Of-The-Art Lab to work in. I seen many friends taking courses
with out of date material, and non-State-Of-The-Art equipment.

I don't understand people who do not research courses in advance of
signing up. It takes all kinds to make a world.

Friday, I read on one of the computer news services that the modem mfgs had agreed on a 56K standard. After the standard is ratified, then DSP modems sales should be quite healthy again.

I missed the the meeting, it was only 40 miles away in Orlando, But then 56K does not interest me anyway.

Here the Press release.

The Nasdaq picks on Industries, and this this time it maybe the Semi's
due to the Asian instability. Though I don't think the effect is a bad as they will play it up to be. If TI falls into the $30's I'll be buying hand over fist. As a general rule after a company Splits the stock drops. But unlikely they will fall into the $30's.

Thanks again
