WunderMap

One of my go-to apps, everyday. Not sure I like the upgrade, it's slower to load, seems more delayed on radar info, and just not as smooth to use. The default location map is too wide to pinpoint your location now, without zooming. And things like wind speed, humidity and dew point, before right there on the default screen, are hidden somewhere. I don't need webcams.

Progress backwards.

> Weather Underground

Well it is interesting that the people who named the company or what ever are probably too young to know there was a radical group named the Weather Underground who bombed things.

Maybe in 30 years there will be software... if there still is software... named taliban...

Shows how important a name can be for a product. Its should be searchable, and easy to find alphabetically. A lot of rock bands suffered from unfortunate names. Like Prince who used a hieroglyphic for awhile or the band "The The" which is now searchable on Amazon but originally was not. i imagine Amazon had to insert some special code into their database software for that band. Same is true for email. Wrong punctuation can send it into the trash. I never use punctuation on email titles. Not even an apostrophe.

The The vs Hank - a must for any fan of weird cover songs. Each Hank Williams song is on the CD followed by an industrial version of the song. And I must say they are pretty interesting interpretations.
