In Nome they used to, and probably still, have Fourth of July festivities that include a parade with vets participating.

One year there was extra time spent in the bars before the parade. The drummer, more than a little tight, set a beat that had a lot of old men boogeying pretty hard down the street.

T'were a fine sight.
