That brought back good memories. When I installed DOSBox on one of my older laptops, I forgot how many games looked horrible when I started to play them. But in my mind the graphics from memory did not seem that bad, until loaded the games.

There were a few games I played a lot, it was EF2000, and TFX, fighter flight combat games and Wargasm (one of my favorite games back in 1998). I could never get those to work in DOSBox, as you need a joystick. I used Sound Blaster cards with a joystick interface on the old PC's.

Wargasm ( a war game with classical music, graphics were amazing back then, very addictive)::


I use to game a lot back in the early days. Also miss being a computer guru, back then computers were expensive, friends always needing my help.

I remember in 1995 paying $5200 to Dell for a gaming machine. Today that would buy you a killer desktop and laptop.
