I am seeing a great deal of angst coming from people I respect, who also could be classified as the low information voter types. They've only seen the cute kid pictures of Trayvon, a skittles toting teen stalked, provoked into a confrontation, resulting in his death by a gun toting creepy guy, who got away with something. That is the media portrayal and it is mainstream consciousness. Now we have Obama investing further in the tragedy by proclaiming the need to reduce gun violence as a way to reduce this sort of thing, while he is under Huge pressure to bring a civil rights suit against Zimmerman.

In a civil case the rules are different and the dark side of Trayvon's character would be exposed. So who files first, Zimmerman filing against the prosecution for evidence tampering or Obama et al filing a civil rights case?
