signist,

Feel free to vent, but since when has Wall Street had logic? Markets are manipulated (NASDAQ particularly) and analysts (most) want more than just income from their analysis. MRVC will rebound. My 2 cents.

John, should be an interesting shareholders meeting Friday. This
may very well be the first one for the company where there are
actually disgruntled shareholders present. I think that every other year the stock had posted impressive gains when compared to the previous years meeting. Over the past 12 months the stock has been flat so unless we have a nice rally this week, there may be some fireworks.

Don't forget those people who bought during the secondary--- if
they are still holding on I'm quite sure their mood is "unpleasant"...

I think you said you were attending. Please give us a full report.
Thanks.

I'd say you found the reason for the recent "curious" negative story about MRVC's product. Looks like that little article was an "answer" to MRVC full-page ad you mention...note that ad was in a different mag.

Likely MRVC is stealing away quite a bit of Bay's potential business, so Bay has to answer MRVC's challenge...hence the new story which suggests you buy the Bay product over the MRVC. Only problem is, that new story doesn't hold up.

The bottom line is, from the reviews I have seen customers will continue to buy the MRVC product over the Bay product.

Also I found in the December 1997 edition of Network Magazine, on the back page, a full page, color ad that reads "THINKING BayStack tm 350T? THINK NBase NH2016. 16 Switched 10/100 Ports. Better Performance. Lower Price.
