From this news report, it looks like she got screwed by a screwed up justice system. I hope she wins an appeal but this is another case that should have never even gone to court. Her husband broke the restraining order and entered the house, which is threatening all by itself. The warning shots to the ceiling demonstrated thoughtful restraint on her part. A warning shot to the huevos would have been justified in my opinion. Unless you are one of those "fair fight" dimwats off course, then she should have left the gun in its holster and done her best to scrap it out. presstv.ir

Fact: Florida woman, black, gets PPO against abusive husband; he comes back into home, threatens her, she "stands her ground", fires two warning shots into the ceiling and gets 20 years. Reconcile that one for us from your extremist right view. I'm sure you can come up with something long winded and "useless". All the best... Was the abusive husband white? If not, what is the parallel that you are trying to make? With the information you provided, it sounds like the justice system failed this woman. How is this similar to the Martin/Zimmerman case? Is there any other relevant information? How did the court reconcile the verdict?
