Oh...get outa here, I don't believe it!!

I was just over on Quicken.com and I was fiddling with my wifes portfolio view....in portfolios....on Her 'My Excite Channel' and I noticed a highlighted option for Microsoft IE browsers......so I fired up my Quicken 98 which has the IE browser embeded within.

Then I came into the quicken.com web site and fired up the ActiveX beta site. After a few seconds the site completed the conversion....then I hit the edit button.....and imported her portfolio into Quicken.com.........you can also import from MicroSoft Investor...and then link to your Brokerage.

Now it's a beta.....so that means it isn't finished by any means...but it's Quicken on the WEB vs. MY PC........interesting.

Can't sell the software we'll give it away.......so now you have the worlds #1 personal finance software migrating free of charge to the masses....interesting.

Kinda explains to me why they didn't do a whole bunch of changes to Quicken 98 and try and sell it......interesting.

..looks like they are going for users...just live a TV Station would go for viewers and let somebody else pay for it.............interesting.

This just might be the move which takes them to #1 Finance Site on the Web......interesting.

BTW doc........wonder who gonna move that money....
