No I'm not confusing the two. It's just that I remember way back when, reading that, because Netscape and Microsoft were going in different directions with their browsers, Softquad was finding it difficult for some reason. Can't remember just exactly what though.Therefore,it seemed that it is very important that there are rules governing HTML. Also the fact that Softquad has several employees involved,I believe, helps Softquad to possibly stay on top.??? PS I don't remember where I read this. I've done alot of surfing.
