The democrats did the same thing when Bush was president, and to a lesser degree before that.

They are going after every program the Dems like from the New Deal

Not unless the Dems only like a few small programs from the New Deal. The big popular ones will continue to see increases in spending even if the Republicans get everything they are pushing for.

Most of them aren't pushing to abolish it in any way. And again "abortion" != women.

They won't even approve certain people to positions, not because they don't like the people, but because they don't like the agency. They don't intend on approving anyone to certain positions, or any more than they are forced to for any positions. That is what they are discussing tonight..

How is that different from what Pelosi and Reid did during the last 2 years of Bush?
