Cheney has a last name, but she has shown herself to be extremely competent on the issues. Whether she can overcome the irrational hatred leftwingers have for the Cheney name, that remains to be seen.

Just what we need...another cynical, nasty GOP character in the senate. I have never heard this woman say anything constructive or positive about much of anything.

And the reason she didn't run in VA where she lives is because she couldn't possibly win. Why? Because she's just like her father.

If you expect thoughtful people to say anything positive about the Obama administration, you may be waiting a while. There really just isn't anything good to be said. It is a damned terrible mess the country has gotten itself into with these fools.

I don't expect Cheney to have a chance in the election because of her last name. But she presents as a highly competent individual, just like her dad.
