You're really full of crap. Do you call a 6 Trillion cubic ft. Maui gas field, the 1 TCF Kapuni field the 800 Million bbl Kupe, the Waihapa field (the most profitable onshore wells in the world) and numerous others SMALL? These are giant fields on any standard.

You call those small. What a dork. Better go back to school for another 10.5 years.
Why has New Zealand attracted huge corporate elephant hunters like Shell, Fletcher, Boral, Norcen, BHP, MIM, NZOG

It is dorks lick you that make companies like INDX become champions. I quess you would have thought Stewart Lyman founder of UNOCAL and the LA Basin crazy as well.

By the way what do you call the big offshore discoveries in the Canterbury. And the oil seeps onshore (I have seen myself)

Maybe you and Dr Bennett should debate on this thread.

Bruce,

I agree with some of what you've said, and the comparison the Guidi
makes is misleading (at best). Everyone should be very suspcious
anytime these types of comparisons are made and especially when they
come Guidi or an IREMCO company (we're use to this sort of hype crap)
Having said that I still think there is potential in NZ (specifically)
for an oil and gas company to do well. Other factors, other than
finding a "huge" hydrocarbon reservoir, can still allow for a oil
and gas company to become very profitable. Conducting business in an
stable country with good infrastructure is worth alot. I gotta wonder
if companies like Shell are around, then there must be something
worth investigating. Also, not to be ignored is INDX's land positions
in potential elephant countries Papau New Guinea and China.

Regards
RonS

PS Don't foget about those "Tertiary" gas fields in Alberta.
