Dipy:

You state:
> However, I find that too many people are agreeing with me. I
don't like to invest in such an environment!

I think I can understand you when you say you do not feel comfortable investing in an environment where too many people agree on a same thing (a classic contrarian strategy). However my original question was: Do you anticipate your dependency on technology to decline as we go forward? And you said No, and stated that too many people agree with you on this and therefore you do not find that comforting to be fully invested in technology!

There are, however, times that logic and resonable assumptions prevail the contrarian strategy. Let me give you the following analogy, If the weather outside is 80 degree and sunny and if everyone agrees with you that the weather outside is sunny and 80 degree, you can not just ignore the fact that it is sunny and 80 degree, and stay indoors just because everyone agrees with you on that! In fact, as you also always say, use your own reasonable and logical better judgement and see (in this case) how you can take the family out and enjoy the weather regardless of how everyone else thinks!! You simply can look out the window and see with your own eyes that it IS sunny and 80 degree (you do not even need to watch the news at noon for the weather man to tell you that it is sunny and 80 degree as your own eyes are the best weather man you have!!
