<<< I am amazed that anybody is offended by someone wanting to get such simple facts on such a critical point as this >>>

Hey Richard. Calm down, buddy. I'm not offended. Just a little joke. Lighten up. Just making fun of your thoroughness; I've been accused of the same (ask Doc Stone).

You asked for some information; I supplied a little bit. You already have it. Great. We do not know what information you already have. Next time, tell us you've already searched the web so we don't replicate your efforts.

Why not call up Ken Owen on Monday and ask? I would also be interested to know these details.

Wade

re Ken Owen

lifted from Bloomberg story last July on embedded y2k probs:
>>Ken Owen, who started a year 2000 consulting unit for Fluor Daniel.<<
nytsyn.com

An article in Mechancial Engineering, in which he is prominently featured referred to him [twice] as:
>>Ken Owen, systems-integration director for Fluor Daniel in Greenville, S.C.<<
memagazine.org

An ITAA Year 200 Outlook report from July:
>>Fluor Daniel Systems Integration Director Ken Owen<<
comlinks.com

In Sept, manufacturingsystems.com, in a Y2K Supplement, said.
>>Ken Owen, a principal consultant for Fluor Daniel,<<
manufacturingsystems.com Story 5

hope this adds to the confusion.

My o'pinion is he was a Systems Integration Director for Fluor who became their in-house "Y2K guy". When Fluor opted not to embrace factory y2k remediation with sufficient enthusiasm, he came to TAVA.
