There are idols & there are idols. A book can become an enshrined idol too. Jews were to put their's together around 300bc thanks to Greeks allowing//inviting them into their libraries to write the collection down. You have your Bible thanks to the Greeks, not god, took them over a century to do it & still wasn't finished till more talk & 5-600yrs later.

But you can say that god created the Greeks so forth & so on, thats evolution.
