I think they start the quotes again at 5:30 CST, 6:30 EST, of course, on Sundays.

One of the participants on "Wall Street Week" (now I have forgotten his name) was trying to make a stock bear/gold bull point, but he seemed so nervous and self-conscious that all it could do would be to reinforce a view of many market participants that anyone with doubts about the continuation of the bull market is unstable.

Complacency about the bull market is almost as universal as fear of Communism was in the 1950s. No, maybe it's more comparable to building all those beach houses--except that the people I know who own those are more realistic about the likelihood of hurricanes. The worst thing about manias is that they seem normal to people caught up in them--or rather, to those people, they really are the norm for the time being.

Rajiv...thanks...rrman and you are a trader and looking at fridays before the mkt number....hahahaha don't ask me for any money to trade on yesterdays BEFORE THE MKT NUMBERS...ho ho ho ps you probably got a lot of the bears on this thread to have a wild time tonight telling their wives that tomorrow is their day to make back all their losses...
