Another moronic question, apparently connecting even a few dots is a difficulty for you? What is the chief issue we find in the main of the book? Is the morality about the soul? The afterlife? Worrying about the fates of others & praying for their salvation? No. No, its about the covenant for the LAND for the tribe & all thereon & therein , including the water that flows thru the land. And if you ever want to get into a feud over morality, i guarantee water & land rights will trump your absolutes everytime, eternally. How are these nimrods going to do all those cleansing rituals to make themselves clean after menstruation & men's bodily discharge in Levictitus without water? In fact the entire exercise is about land rights, read Joshua again dimrod.

The skillsets that allow you to even have a tribe that survives do not just "poof" into existence & aquiring them is what lay behind all that pretense of imaginary gods protecting you , inflicting plagues of flies on your enemies etc. And the skills are many and learned from others, there's prolly a reason David had to use the Phillistine's sword to cut the head of Goliath off, they didn't even possess the skills to make the sword, hence really needed an invisible friend. But as we see they had many imaginary friends long after David, that fertility goddess found all over Israel , being one. They made it up as they went of course, and your timelines are all screwed up because the reality is the truth, which leaves Darwin in good stead, imaginary friends on shakey ground.
