How it works is that you make ridiculous statements, try to shift the burden of proof on to others to prove you wrong, and then when they provide some limited evidence, and you provide nothing, you just ignore the point and harp on the limits of their evidence rather than the zero evidence that you provide. A poll without detailed information on the sample and methodology is indeed limited evidence (although I doubt it would stop you from trumpeting it if it agreed with you), but it is at least minimal evidence. Now its your turn to provide some.
