i've sold the cover calls and they are in the money...
why buy them back and take a lost.
just buy another 10k shares....100% of the time over a 14 month period if they were in the money I was exercised..
You don't find out til the next day and then you lost the divey chk which at the time was annualized bet. 5-6% on nynex.

mat....read the post again..we aren't talking expiration day..then i just buy them back or let them go.
we are talking ex date..the day you have to be the record hold to collect the dividend.
Are you understanding now......
