Do you have any groups band together for their propane? Saves me a lot, cheaper than prebuy(I'm in the high tier, don't use much-I heat mainly with wood, a lot of wood(lol)). The price is set at so many cents above the cost at the shipping point. Probably 150 people in the group, annually goes out to bid as a group.

Here is how mine works
Propane Pricing Schedule Per Member Tier Classification for the Period June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014

Tier 1, .99 cents over Selkirk -0 to 500 gallons/usage

Tier 2, .80 cents over Selkirk -500 to 1000 gallons/usage

Tier 3, .65 cents over Selkirk -over 1000 gallons/usage
(the "usage" is annually)

Current price (I live in the NE)

This week's price for propane this week is $1.80,$1.95, and $2,14/Gal depending on your pricing tier. Monday's cost of oil is $3.59/gal. Please be aware the oil price changes daily.

(and a log truck, about 7 cord is $700)
