Gary,
Nice summary about ASND. It may be out of the woods even if there is no takeover. As long as people believe in the company as a growth company in a growth industry expectations can be met. It was momentum players who expected miracles every quarter who have bailed. I expect we have many more investors now and that bodes well for the future. Sorry about an earlier post. I have seen how hard you work on this company and I appreciate your effort. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Karl

Would you explain what RBOC stands for? Pardon me for my ignorance.

<<5. Per the CC back on 10/9, ASND is now burning money on R&D, and some
dramatic new products appear to be in the offing per Maverick.>>

Nice post, Gary. I agree that they are investing more in R&D, but I
feel that the new products coming out in Q1 are not the result of this.

It takes longer to bring products from conception to market reality
than this. I think you will really begin to see the fruits of this
investment by next Summer. These "dramatic new products" had to be
in the works pre-merger, IMO. This must have been part of why the
merger occurred and why the NTT and Worldnet? contracts have "suddenly"
occurred.

Theres something on reuters about "mcns-dcosis". It seams to be a new standard in cable modems. The story mentions networkers like 3com, bay networks and cisco. Is this a repeat of old news. It also mentions intc and a startup company called" broadcom ".
I just hope it isnt bad that asnd not mentioned.
Regards,
Gary
