KLIC bc 10,000 @ $11.45 at the close; profit $1700; these were shares I shorted yesterday and the day before, plus some from a long time ago; still holding 5000 shares short.

I was spooked by that spike up to $12 yesterday on no news. When a stock moves up on no news right before earnings, that often means good news hasn't yet become public (but somebody knows). Anyway, I feel more comfortable on the sidelines.

Cancelled all my orders to short more at higher prices; for now, I'll just await events. If there is good news upcoming, I'll certainly short at $13 or above, or wherever the stock stalls at on any big upmove. KLIC has been under-performing the SOX, and SOX has have a huge upmove since last November (i.e., it's due for a pullback).
