Today's message from Organizing for Obammy(OFA). How is this group tax exempt I wonder...

Friend --

This summer has already been jam-packed with action on everything from immigration reform to climate change to marriage equality.

But you haven't seen anything yet.

This August, while our members of Congress are home for congressional recess, OFA is launching a concerted effort to make our voices heard.

That's why we're inviting some of our top volunteers like you to join us in Chicago for Camp OFA, a special half-day training program where you can pick up skills and tips to take your organizing to the next level in August (and beyond).

Reserve your spot now -- join us for Camp OFA on Saturday, July 27th, in Chicago.

Here are the details:

What: Camp OFA in Chicago

Where: 2229 S. Halstead St.
Chicago, IL 60608

When: Saturday, July 27th
1:00 pm

Whether you're new to organizing or an old pro, this is a great way to learn about our plans for August, and chat with the folks in your community who'll be working on them, too.

You'll get some helpful tips unique to issue organizing, get a look at the strategy that's driving our issue-based campaigns, and find out how your work will help move these issues forward this summer.

It's not just going to be very informative -- it'll be a lot of fun.

Sign up today to be part of Camp OFA in Chicago:

Thanks,

Sara

One of the big differences between liberals and conservatives is that liberals adore and deify their political leaders while conservatives consider political leaders to be a necessary evil.
Nonsense. No one on the left has been idolized like Reagan. Even JFK, and times were very different then. i-node still carries a touch for Dubya. And the worship of Cheney is, well, sort of embarrassing.

We don't think collectively. We are much more individualistic in our thought and therefore it is not surprising that we fight for individual rights.
You should layoff of the kool-aid. There is little variation in thought on the Right. Someone like Limbaugh will say something and within a day or two y'all are all saying the same thing, often using the very same words. This just doesn't happen with everyone else. And then there are the nutty conspiracy theories...

Y'all engage in projection a lot too. As your post shows, y'all are always trying to project your little foibles on others, despite what the evidence shows.

But y'all are so stuck in your echo chamber that you cannot even recognize reality when it slaps you up side of your head. Just look at the last election. With your unskewing of the polls, the misquoting and sometimes just making shit up left the impression that y'all are a pack of loons. Y'all are anti-democraic, only certain people should vote. Yet another guy in PA is claiming that their voter ID law suppressed votes for democrats. You only promote individual rights for yourselves, everyone else should be tightly controlled. Y'all promote bending the economy to serve only a few. Hell, the whole country is there to serve but a small percentage of the population.

Give me a BREAK Jorj! You clowns worship Ronald Reagan like Jesus! Your crowd has been looking for "the next Reagan" ever since! You'd raise him from the dead and vote for the Zombie Reagan if it were possible.
