Hi Dwight,

It really is something that could happen to anyone, even Vice Presidents of world powers. Then again it always seemed to me that IBM could have matched any Novell offer if they really wanted to keep him. The problem as I see it, is that there still is no real difference in current marketing plans from what they have always done.

On the lighter side:

There's a rumor floating around that Bill Gates was overheard telling his CFO; "Snapple, you moron! I said Snapple!"

Dwight: I hear you. As Jed Clampett of the Beverly Hillbillies would say "Pitiful!!!!". It appears that Novell continues to insult its shareholders with messages of "cluelessness" such as this from its marketing department.
