Right. Asking a teacher about home schooling probably isn't going to lead to the best understanding of it.

I wish we had homeschooled, at least in the case of my son. The public schools were just not equipped to challenge him. Which is the problem with one-size fits all education. My daughter had to work hard to make good grades. My son just had to show up.

I usually know what made up stuff is.

My schooling experience and that of my friends and family was nothing like they said it was.

Everyone I know loves the public schools and universities.

UC Berkeley is the greatest university in the world and a public school. The entire California university system is great and has been great for decades.
