A U.S. federal court judge has ordered cops in Nebraska return more than $1 million to a stripper after the cash was confiscated during a traffic stop.Cops seized the cash, which was in $10,000 bundles tied with hair elastics and in plastic bags, suspecting it was linked to drug trafficking, ABC News reported.

Tara Mishra, 33, had been saving the money $1 at a time since she started as an exotic dancer at 18, ABC reported. The money was to start a business so Mishra could end her stripping career.

The cash was in a car belonging to friends of Mishra who were going to be her business partners in a New Jersey nightclub.

Police found no other evidence of drugs when the car was searched.

The judge ordered Mishra receive a cash or cheque for the amount seized plus interest — $1,074,000.
