Who decides who the useless ones are?

I am sure Brumar and many on this thread would consider me one of those useless teachers. I was actually a great teacher.

But the community can also fire the teachers. Nothing to prevent that. Unions don't prevent that, they just intercede when it is potentially unfair.

With public schools the community hires the teachers. What is better than that?

Being allowed to fire the useless ones.

another factor is that local communities are ceding power to the feds and the state. Feds bribe them with money. As far as unions the more powerful they become the worse the schools get.
