So true. Then add in most kids in the projects won't become a star when they grow up. A tragedy that they perceive no other way out.. Then it hits them sometime in their teens or early 20's to find out it takes hard work just to become a productive member of society never mind the next Lebron or JayZ, that Jessie/Al tell them they can take the easy way out and fail because of racism, that the kids in the hood brand them an uncle Tom for actually liking school and staying out of trouble at a time they are still so impressionable is really sad. Most stunning is the left never wants to have this real discussion.. CNN has really gone over the top on this whole issue. Seriously Anderson Cooper, born into high society, being the out front person the son of Gloria Vanderbilt probably never saw a ghetto or dealt with the common man growing up. Even at his age he seems so wet behind the ears...

It still comes down to who you associate with in your local community, the school you go to and your family as to what fork in the road you take? .

Yah--pretty much---which is why kids in the projects have a tougher time.

And why is that?
