Re -- the number of shipments growing from 133,000 in 1997 to well more than a million next year and over 3 million in 1999.

Yup, 3Com including all the competion, bay, Intel, Mot, csco etc.. is going to make a bundle in 1999!!.

The cable modem is really hyped a lot. While the software modems, for low end PC's, is going to take a chunk of 3Coms revenues next year!!
