But most are opposed to federal bailouts for these financially troubled cities. Seventy-four percent (74%) of American Adults think it is at least somewhat likely that more major cities will file for bankruptcy in the near future, including 44% who say it is Very Likely. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 19% consider other municipal bankruptcies unlikely in the short term, but only one percent (1%) view it as Not At All Likely.
