I just had one of my teacher friends fired by a conservative principle that didn't like him. Smart math teacher students liked. The union only helped ease the pain by letting the fellow go home early as he was throwing up from the stress The principle is hated by many teachers he intimidates and threatened him and he won as he always does. The union could not help him in the long run. His wife quit too and they sold their house and have moved back south. I was a teacher and also did a ton of substitute teaching. I doubt you know the reality of teachers and teachers unions any better than I. School boards and non union principles hire teachers, not unions!!!
