Exactly right. If unions had been outlawed we would probably be working less than 35 hours per week by now. Not only that but since the economy would be stronger, our dollars would buy more and wives wouldn't be forced into the labor market. They could go to work if they wanted to, but at least their financial situation wouldn't be forcing them to work.
