Obama and his cabinet members are not immigrants. However, Obama is a minority of Americans who are realists and calls a spade a spade when it is time a.k.a. his speech on racism that he gave in 2008 and then the one he gave a few days ago. Recall how the African American community were not satisfied with him since in their opinion "he had not done enough for them." But the realist that he is, he spoke up at the right time. What if it is entrepreneurs, and small and large business owners who are the ones who have the most power to create jobs? What about them. Why do you keep harping on issues since doing so takes away from your time to think about them. Where will these small and large businesses get their working capital from so that they can create jobs. Would you want the next generation of citizens to waiters and waitresses at mom-and-pop businesses such as diners? I look at Germany, the UK, China, India, Brazil and so. They do not subscribe to the philosophy and having the Govt get out of the way. And their economic condition as a society "as a whole" is much better than ours since we keep holding onto antiquated ideas. After all, what better can we expect from some of these Americans who believe in taking the lives of people who have committed crimes, out of revenge and then saying it is the "rule of law". What better we can expect from America where they give unfretered access to guns and say absurd things that "guns don't kill, people do" and then turn around and say Zimmer did not kill with his gun but acted in self defence. What better you can expect from this country when they are glad to spend money to send troops to Iraq in the name of "bettering the lives of the Iraqis" and when asked why they do n ot spend that money to better the lives of their own citizens, they draw a blank. So MM, please do not lecture about the US being a country of laws and worse still saying that immigrants do not believe in laws. I am an American as much as anyone else. And I am determined to criticize the ills out of this society with the intention of making this society, to which I belong, as the best in the world. We bloody well believe in laws that are humane and civilized. It is America that does not believe in laws that are civilized. ....... signed Piers Morgan, Jr.
