So in essence, that quote is telling us that possession of your information removes the expectation of privacy that you are afforded under the 4th Amendment to our Constitution. So if I break into your house and steal your diary and use that against you, then you lose your 4th Amendment rights. That is bullshit on its face. The very act of spying on an innocent American and stealing their information is a crime and violation of our rights. The information on the servers at your telephone company is YOUR information, which you pay for in your monthly bill and there is a very real expectation that your telephone company will not use that information to harm you or give it to someone else who plans to harm you.

Bottom line is I don't care how they try to spin this. They are engaging in Stasi Nazi tactics and trying to sugar it up by saying they need to do it to protect us from terrorists. We are losing the soul of our country to these people.
