BTW, Yahoo! (I believe) is now using Network Appliance filers for its file
servers, rather than disk arrays attached to the back of the Web Server
machines. Netscape does the same thing in association with its SGI and Sun
web servers. (Other big ISPs as well.)

Yahoo, like other popular sites are actually a mixed enviroment
at its server farms. It for example uses SUN workgroup servers
for handling e-mails.
