PC World had a piece on the future of the PC. It said that the advancement in memory technology is a key to the future of conusmer electronics. They spent too much space talking about Intel 's strata-flash, but did talk about Sandisk and compact flash. I was pleased to see the ol' company be mentioned by name. I'll sum up the article if one you internet-junkies can not find it online. Please try as I am a poor typist. Also, I have been seeing lots of advertisements about digital cameras in the paper. Often the ad will state that the camera supports a 2 meg compact flash memory card. The more CF becomes known to the consumer, the better for us. I know we all have been a little put-off by the slide from 39 to 30 to 19 to 25 to 29 and now back to 23. I keep telling myself to be patient, but this technology is so exciting, that I can't help but dream big for MMC and Sandisk. I suspect that prior to the Jan 20 earnings date, we will see mid to high 30s again. No TA to back this up, just intuition.
