I don't think any political system is "less corrupt" simply because people, therefore cultures are corrupted. Which is why I find the constant attacks by the left against the right and the right against the left so ludicrous. Neither party is anything but the height of hypocrisy. Examples: left: We should help the poor(meanwhile, to achieve and stay in power, the left allows 20 million illegal liens are destroying the welfare system through abuse) right: we are the champions of moral authority and want to end welfare....except for corporations(which far exceeds that spent on welfare for the poor) ! And please ignore our constant infidelities. In essence, the leaders in both parties are there in office to line their own pockets and especially those of their corporate sponsors. And Americans wonder why other countries despise our hypocrisy? alternet.org alternet.org
