Of course he is careful to say its not God, he doesn't WANT there to be a God. : "With autotrophy, biochemistry is wired into the universe. The self-made cell emerges from geochemistry as inevitably as basalt or granite." That is total nonsense. Symbolically coded specified information is NOT hardwired into any physical substance or physical laws.
