Yep.. I agree... muddle along.. Having a large part of the world sharing more of the pie and technologically induced productivity are causing a paradigm shift in our culture.. As the Chinese get urbanized.. we get super urbanized (more vertical living, less living space, less automobile culture..:O) Maybe the Chinese will largely just skip the suburbia stage.. ie.. let's build the cities.. they will come :O) I am not terribly hopeful though for what it does to people over the longer term to be jammed together.. social animals we are but we also need some space...
