I agree the kids are everything. So let's make sure all kids have education and health care. This means free if necessary starting with pre school for education and free regular childhood health check ups and necessary medical intervention. All children deserves full educational and health care.

But we also need a healthy banking system to have a economy that produces the revenues for better schools, better healthcare for kids etc. So the choice is between subsidizing them or nationalizing them,, isn't it? Or do you have a third choice for how to deal with a banking system?

Agreed. You've struck a point with me that really is my only priority left in life...our kids. In fact, pretty much every post I make and every policy position I take is because I think about the world we're leaving behind for our kids. There is no greater priority. For me, it's not a black or white or green issue. For me, it's an issue of all American future generations. My vote will always go to the President who puts kids as their top priority over the bankers, the oil men, and the military complex. We should spare no expense on education, but then be frugal as hell in funding our bankers, oil men, and military. Can't find money for schools? Stop subsidizing the banks, oil men and military. Can't find money for healthcare for our kids? Stop funding the banks, oil men, and military. Couldn't agree more.......stop subsidizing, the banks, oil and military.
