William:

There was one more NEW development that worried me a lot last night: An SEC filing by APM after the close on 12/5/97, without any news release, to double the number of authorized shares. APM cites reasons for doing so as: to accommodate stock-splits, stock dividends, acquisition of properties or other corporate purposes. The first two reasons do not make sense to me now (they are stated in a pretty standard way).

The next two reasons appear imminent (IMHO): APM may be trying to acquire some MR capacity/facility by issuing shares. APM says that such issuance will be dilutive. This really concerned me a lot. I thus find that until the future of APM is visible, playing long on this stock is very risky, IMHO.
