Not in the least. Alinsky wrote some books, ones that both Democrats and Republicans (and others) found pretty useful. Dick Cheney was the Vice President of the United States and the Koch Brothers paid for think tanks and bought state legislators and governors and are worth like $50 billion. Big difference.
