This is too funny, you just can't make this stuff up!!! LOLOL!!!!!

Workers at the new federal ovomitcare call center are angry because they get no health benefits, so they have to buy ovomitcare for themselves... they say they feel duped!!! And I bet those idiot liberal do-gooders voted for that maggot too... LOLOL!!!Too funny!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

A soon-to-be-opened call center meant to help teach the public about ovomitcare is offering its new employees only part-time positions in order to avoid providing health care — in turn denying them benefits under the very ovomitcare law they're helping to implement.

One worker said, "It is very disappointing. I was under the impression this was going to be a full time well-paying, cushy well-compensated position."

LOLOL!!!!! All I can say is, WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD OF OVOMITCARE!!!!! Too funny!!! Those idiot liberals deserve a taste of their own ovomitcare medicine, be careful what you wish for... LOLOL!!!!!

Your story admits that the premiums will go up, it's just that some other group of suckers will pick up the slack in the tab.....just another attack on OPM......no good news in there for the productive among us.

The average healthy young person needs to be forced to buy health insurance only slightly more than a hog needs water ski lesions.

Sheila “Security Risk” Jackson-Lee Nominated for Homeland Security Post
Submitted by Trevor on July 30, 2013 – 5:50 am EST 2 Comments
The pro-communist Congressional Black Caucus has nominated far left Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee to replace Janet Napolitano as Homeland Security Secretary.

Communist affiliated Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson has taken himself out of contention, but has decided to endorse Jackson-Lee.

From culturemap Houston:

Representative Sheila Jackson Lee got a major boost from the Congressional Black Caucus with an official endorsement to fill Janet Napolitano’s seat as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

In a letter dated July 24, Ohio representative and caucus chair Marcia Fudge asks President Barack Obama to consider the Houston lawmaker for the federal appointment, noting her posts on House Committees for Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security and the Judiciary since she joined Congress in 1995.

Lee currently serves as the ranking member of the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security, where the Black Caucus says she stands as a “strong and honest ‘voice of reason.’ “

Any Homeland Security nomination is sure to cause quite the buzz among conservative pundits.

The Mississippi Business Journal first broached the idea after receiving a statement from Mississippi U.S. representative Bennie Thompson explaining that, while his name was mentioned as a possible Homeland Security replacement, he would not seek the nomination. Instead he would endorse Lee.

This isn’t the fox guarding the chicken coop. This is Wile E. Coyote being served up Roadrunner on a silver platter by a tuxedo clad waiter in a 5 star restaurant.

In my new book The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress, I devote several pages each to Bennie Thompson and Sheila Jackson-Lee.

Sheila Jackson-Lee, like many of her Congressional Black Caucus and Progressive Caucus colleagues, is a straight out security risk.

A few of many concerns about Jackson-Lee include:

On February 18, 1999, six members of the U.S. Congressional Black Caucus visited Cuba to evaluate the U.S.-imposed embargo. Among the visitors: communist affiliated Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee of California and Sheila Jackson-Lee of Texas.

In the mid-2000s, far left activist Stoney Cooks served as Sheila Jackson-Lee’s Chief of Staff and Administrative Assistant:

In 1967, Cooks was one of 41 Americans who traveled to Czechoslovakia to meet with representatives of the North Vietnamese government and the Viet Cong.

The American delegation included members of Students for a Democratic Society and other leftist groups. According to one participant, the meeting had been initiated by the North Vietnamese and the Americans “were expected not only to oppose the war in Vietnam but also to favor, on balance, an NLF (National Liberation Front) victory.

Stoney Cooks was among sponsors of a U.S. Preparatory Committee for the Soviet front 10th World Festival of Youth and Students held during 1973 in East Berlin. The committee operated from the offices of the official youth front for the Communist Party USA, the Young Workers Liberation League.

In the late 2000's, Sheila Jackson-Lee was close to a scam initiated by the Communist Party spinoff Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. The scam involved using the influence of U.S. Representatives and Senators to lobby for U.S. taxpayers money to pay “reparations” to the Vietnamese communist government for damage done by U.S. forces during the Vietnam War. The moral equivalent of U.S. taxpayers being forced to bail out Hitler for damage done to Germany in WW2.

In November 2007, Sheila Jackson-Lee met in her office with a delegation of Vietnamese communists and Merle Ratner of the Committees of Correspondence and her colleague Susan Schnall, who was court martialed as a Navy nurse during the Vietnam war for her anti-war activism.

Merle Ratner (second from left), Susan Schnall, right

Spacecraft Sees Giant 'Hole' In the Sun
Megan Gannon July 28, 2013
news.yahoo.com

A space telescope aimed at the sun has spotted a gigantic hole in the solar atmosphere — a dark spot that covers nearly a quarter of our closest star, spewing solar material and gas into space.

The so-called coronal hole over the sun's north pole came into view between July 13 and 18 and was observed by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, or SOHO. NASA released a video of the sun hole as seen by the SOHO spacecraft, showing the region as a vast dark spot surrounded by solar activity.

Coronal holes are darker, cooler regions of the sun's atmosphere, or corona, containing little solar material. In these gaps, magnetic field lines whip out into the solar wind rather than looping back to the sun's surface. Coronal holes can affect space weather, as they send solar particles streaming off the sun about three times faster than the slower wind unleashed elsewhere from the sun's atmosphere, according to a description from NASA.

"While it’s unclear what causes coronal holes, they correlate to areas on the sun where magnetic fields soar up and away, failing to loop back down to the surface, as they do elsewhere," NASA's Karen Fox at the agency's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., explained in an image description.

These holes are not uncommon, but their frequency changes with the solar activity cycle. The sun is currently reaching its 11-year peak in activity, known as the solar maximum. Around the time of this peak, the sun's poles switch their magnetism. The number of coronal holes typically decreases leading up to the switch.

After the reversal, new coronal holes appear near the poles. Then as the sun approaches the solar minimum again, the holes creep closer to the equator, growing in both size and number, according to NASA.

The $1.27-billion (1 billion euros) SOHO satellite was launched in 1995 and is flying a joint mission between NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA). It watches solar activity from an orbit about the Lagrange Point 1, a gravitationally stable spot between Earth and the sun that is about 932,000 miles (1.5 million kilometers) from our planet.

Newspaper to Obama: 'Shove it, Mr. President'

Editors scorch 'umpteenth different' jobs plan
Bob Unruh
Tuesday, July 30, 2013
wnd.com

A newspaper editorial today greeted Barack Obama in an entirely new way as he traveled to Chattanooga, Tenn., to visit an Amazon business center and lobbied for his newest strategy to try to create jobs for Americans.

“Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President: Your policies have harmed Chattanooga enough,” said a commentary in the Times Free Press.

“Forgive us if you are not greeted with the same level of Southern hospitality that our area usually bestows on its distinguished guests. You see, we understand you are in town to share your umpteenth different job creation plan during your time in office. If it works as well as your other job creation programs, then thanks, but no thanks. We’d prefer you keep it to yourself,” the newspaper said.

“That’s because your jobs creation plans so far have included a ridiculous government spending spree and punitive tax increase on job creators that were passed, as well as a minimum wage increase that, thankfully, was not. Economists – and regular folks with a basic understanding of math – understand that these are three of the most damaging policies imaginable when a country is mired in unemployment and starving for job growth.”

It was at Amazon’s Chattanooga fulfillment center that Obama praised the operation for being “kind of like the North Pole of the south right here … Got a bunch of good-looking elves here.”

He boasted about creating “7.2 million new jobs over the last 40 months” because of the “grit and resilience of the American people.”

“But as I said last week, and as any middle-class family will tell you, we’re not there yet. Even before the financial crisis hit, we were going through a decade where a few at the top were doing better and better, but most families were working harder and harder just to get by. And reversing that trend should be Washington’s highest priority.”

He said he wanted to lay out his ideas for creating good jobs, but lamented that the Republicans in Congress wouldn’t give him everything he asked for.

Obama cited a strategy to offer incentives for manufacturers to keep jobs in the U.S., or bring them back from overseas, spending billions to catch up on “deferred maintenance” in the U.S., creating jobs in wind, solar, and natural gas industries, and exporting more.

And he also said he wants corporations to hire more people.

“We’re not lacking for ideas, we’re just lacking action, especially out of Washington,” he said.

The newspaper noted “64 percent of Chattanooga respondents said they would rather you hadn’t chosen to visit our fair city,” but the editorial said it actually was good that Obama visited.

“It will give you an opportunity to see the failure of your most comprehensive jobs plan to date, the disastrous stimulus scheme, up close and personal,” the newspaper said.

The commentary cited the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009's funding of the “Gig to Nowhere.”

That’s a $552 million “socialist-style experiment in government-owned Internet, cable and phone services orchestrated by EPB – Chattanooga’s government-owned electric monopoly.”

“The Gig to Nowhere is a Smart Grid, a high tech local electricity infrastructure intended to improve energy efficiency and reduce power outages. After lobbying for, and receiving, $111.6 million in stimulus money from your administration, EPB decided to build a souped-up version of the Smart Grid with fiber optics rather than more cost-effective wireless technology. This decision was supposed to allow EPB to provide the fastest Internet service in the Western Hemisphere, a gigabit-per-second Internet speed that would send tech companies and web entrepreneurs stampeding to Chattanooga in droves.”

The reality, however, is that the project is “an absolute bust”

“While the Smart Grid will cost taxpayers and local electric customers well over a half-billion dollars when all is said and done, there has been little improvement in the quality of EPB’s electric service. Worse, despite being heavily subsidized, EPB’s government-owned Internet, cable and telephone outfit that competes head-to-head against private companies like AT&T and Comcast is barely staying afloat, often relying on loans from electric service reserve funds to afford its business expenses,” the newspaper pointed out.

“Further, there has been no credible evidence to suggest that EPB can even provide a gig of service consistently and reliably. Any companies hoping to utilize the Gig to Nowhere are quoted monthly billing costs that make the service unfeasible. As a result, Chattanooga has remained a relative ghost town for technological innovation. Almost no economic development whatsoever has resulted from the gig,” the newspaper said.

The newspaper said what the government program has achieved is a “shocking price tag.”

“Because of your unwillingness to balance the budget, Mr. President, the $111.6 million federal handout to subsidize the Gig to Nowhere will actually cost federal taxpayers $158.2 million, due to interest. Once EPB received the stimulus infusion to fund the pork project, the electric monopoly took out a $219.8 bond that will balloon to $391.3 million by the time Chattanoogans are done paying it off.

“The bond’s first payment comes due this fall and there remain significant questions about how EPB can manage to pay the debt without hiking electric rates on EPB customers,” the newspaper said. “Building a Smart Grid to get into a telecom sector already well-served by private companies was a bad idea from the start. But getting government involved in places it doesn’t belong is a hallmark of your administration.”

Obama’s explained his newest strategy is a plan that “simplifies the tax code for our businesses and creates good jobs with good wages…”

He said he’d be willing to tax code reform – but only if it allows the government “to use money from transitioning to a simpler tax system for a significant investment in creating middle-class jobs.”

Health care costs are going up 72%

When Indiana recently announced that individual health insurance costs in Indiana will rise 72 percent on average because of new Affordable Care Act requirements, an immediate outcry followed from some ACA supporters, who accused the Department of Insurance of misrepresenting these numbers in a deliberate attempt to mislead Hoosiers. The DOI provided a lengthy testimony about these numbers before the Indiana Health Finance Commission on July 22, and the DOI stands by its numbers. The fact remains that the Indiana individual health insurance market will see significant increases next year because of ACA.

The following is some background about how we arrived and compared our cost-increase number. First, we began with the average “per member per month” cost for 2012, which is based on actual filings submitted to the DOI by Indiana health insurance companies. We then compared this number to average “per member per month” cost for 2014 filings. After subtracting normally expected cost increases or “trend” costs, we arrived at a 72 percent average cost increase for 2014. This is the increase amount in insurance costs directly attributable to the ACA.

Some media outlets have highlighted costs for the absolute cheapest health plans available in Indiana in 2014 without any comparison to costs for similar plans prior to the ACA to portray the appearance of “affordability.” In fact, many “bronze” and “silver” plans will likely receive the sharpest percentage increases compared to similar health plans before ACA because younger and healthier Hoosiers will bear more of the cost shifting from senior and sicker Hoosiers. These younger and healthier Hoosiers are more likely to choose “bronze” and “silver” plans.

It is also important to note that these cost increases will occur regardless of who is actually paying the final bill. We acknowledge that many Hoosiers in the individual market will qualify for tax subsidies to purchase insurance in the federally run marketplace. The cost of these subsidies is not free, even to those that receive them. They will be paid in full by federal taxpayers.

ACA proponents have attacked the DOI for not including federal subsidies in our insurance cost projections, which would paint a prettier, yet unrealistic, picture of the law’s costs in Indiana. This is merely an attempt to distract Hoosiers from the actual insurance costs. The regrettable fact is that health insurance costs are going up because of the ACA.

Report: Lewinsky sex tape to Clinton surfaces

Monica: 'I could take my clothes off and start ... well ...'
Joe Kovacs
Wednesday, July 31, 2013
wnd.com

Monica Lewinsky and President Bill Clinton

While the sexting of former congressman and current candidate for new York mayor Anthony Weiner is still making national headlines, a blast-from-the-past sex tape involving Monica Lewinsky and former President Bill Clinton has just reportedly surfaced.

An audio tape obtained by the National Enquirer purports to reveal the former White House intern planning a secret sexual meeting with the president and proclaiming to her paramour she’s “too cute and adorable” to be ignored.

The recording, made in November 1997 at the height of the pair’s sexual affair, is three minutes, 47 seconds long, and is addressed to “handsome.”

At one point, Lewinsky is heard trying to seduce Clinton, saying: “I could take my clothes off and start … well … I know you wouldn’t enjoy that? I hope to see you later and I hope you will follow my script and do what I want.”

Monica’s voice is the only one heard on the tape, which was thought to have been destroyed years ago, though a duplicate was secretly made and has now surfaced, according to the Enquirer.

On the recording, Lewinsky tells the commander in chief: “Since I know you will be alone tomorrow evening, I have two proposals for you, neither of which is you not seeing me.”

The National Enquirer reportedly obtained a secret sex tape featuring the voice of White House intern Monica Lewinsky talking to President Bill Clinton.

She then takes charge, instructing Clinton use his secretary, Betty Currie, to plan the president’s schedule so they could secretly meet without any formal record of her visit.

“Now the first thing that has to happen is that you need to pre-plan with Betty that you will leave the office at, I don’t know, at 7, 7:30 so that everyone else who hates me that causes me lots of trouble goes home,” Lewinsky tells Clinton.

“Then you quickly sneak back and then in the meantime I quickly sneak over and then we can have a nice little visit for, you know, 15 minutes or half an hour. Whatever you want.”

Monica laments how the pair’s previous “60 seconds” encounter “was just not enough – even though you did look very handsome.”

“Maybe we could go over and watch a movie together and just have kind of, I don’t know, boxed dinners or something like that,” she continued.

“And then that way we don’t have to deal with the problem of me … of there being a record of me going upstairs and we can spend some time together and see a good movie.

“So I don’t know, those are two proposals and you can’t refuse me because I’m too cute and adorable and soon I won’t be here anymore to pop over.

“I’m hoping you will hear this and you will choose which one you want to do and go tell Betty and then she can call me and let me know so I don’t have to stress out all day and I don’t have to call her every two hours and bug her because, I know you will find this very hard to believe, but I can be a pain in the a– sometimes.

“I’m very persistent, but um … I really want to see you.”

The Enquirer says Lewinsky initially played the tape for Linda Tripp – the woman whose covert phone tapes of Monica eventually led to Clinton’s impeachment – on Nov. 20, 1997.

A report by the Office of Independent Counsel Ken Starr indicates the cassette was delivered to the White House the next day.

The recording as well as other “souvenirs” such as love letter from Lewinsky to Clinton, were reportedly obtained by someone hired as a “cleaner” by people close to Lewinsky.

The material was kept private for the past 15 years, and the Clintons reportedly thought the evidence was no longer in existence.

“First, I forgot to tell you that the Gingko Blowjoba, or whatever it’s called, was from me,” Lewinsky wrote in one romantic note to Bill Clinton.

“I also included those new Zinc throat lozenges which are rumored to be great.”

In several notes, Lewinsky pleaded with the president to make time to see her, and she begged him to explain why he put an end to their adulterous affair.

The Enquirer reports the revelation of the tape could sink Hillary Clinton’s expected run for the White House.

Former first lady Hillary Clinton

“The Clintons thought this sex tape was dead and buried,” a source told the paper. “If this tape and other material are surfacing now, imagine what else must be out there?

“This could be just the tip of the iceberg and the most embarrassing ‘bimbo eruption’ of all for the Clintons.”

California's Rich & Famous Energy Gluttons
7/31/2013 @ 11:54AM In September, homes in the elite Los Angeles suburb of Hidden Hills consumed an average of nearly four and a half megawatt hours of electricity, which paid an average monthly electric utility bill of more than $1,200 for doing so.

The typical household in Hidden Hills, a gated residential community with a total all land area of 1.7 square miles, used significantly more electricity in 2012 (especially in September) than any other city in California, according to new data released by the California Public Utility Commission.

This gives the good people of Hidden Hills, which includes the likes of Sean Penn, Melissa Ethridge and Britney Spears, the ignominious honor of being California’s biggest energy hog.

Residents of Hidden Hills are unlikely to lose sleep over their elephant-sized monthly electric bills considering that Hidden Hills boasted the strongest concentration of upper-end incomes in America in 2011, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Even media can no longer ignore black violence

Focus becoming clear with references to 'black youth mobs'
Colin Flaherty
Thursday, August 01, 2013
wnd.com

A startling new trend is sweeping newsrooms across the country: Reporters are telling the truth about black mob violence.

OK, it was just two reporters and two stories in one week.

But it happens so rarely that it seems like a torrent.

Let’s start in Baltimore: Second only to Chicago in the frequency and intensity of black mob violence in their downtown. Second only to Chicago in the unwillingness of the media and police administrators to confront it.

From the Fox affiliate in Baltimore we learned two things in the last week: Black mob violence in the upscale downtown area is now so bad that even the local press cannot ignore it.

And that because of this violence, a major company headquartered there is talking about moving out.

The story begins with a report carried here last week of a black mob attacking people in the Little Italy section near downtown. All on video.

First reference: The predators were those troublesome “teens,” as usual.

But then this popped out of seemingly nowhere:

These “mob” crimes are a sensitive subject in the political world. Last year, when Delegate Pat McDonough referred to “Black youth mobs terrorizing Baltimore,” he took heat from critics who felt his remarks were racist.

In this case, the mob of teens in Little Italy were African-American, though there is no indication that race was a motive in this most recent assault.

To be accurate, city officials and most media managers are the ones who are the most “sensitive:” They don’t report it. Or even admit it. They get touchy when readers confront them about it.

To be fair, victims of the black mob violence are not sensitive, they are angry. And want something done about it. Curiously, they are turning for solutions to the same city officials who deny there is a problem in the first place.

Get the book that documents racial violence in America, with hundreds of episodes in more than 80 American cities since 2010, where groups of blacks are assaulting, intimidating, stalking, threatening, shooting, stabbing and killing victims.

The local Fox affiliate repeated the standard mantra that there is no evidence of a racial motive. This much is true: Members of the violent black mob carried no signs. Issued no press releases. Did not chant: “Burn, baby, burn.”

But this is also true: The mob violence in downtown Baltimore is a black thing. All the mobs are black. Most of the victims are white, or immigrant shop owners. Surely that means something. Even if the national reporter for race for the Associated Press says it does not.

As he recently told your humble correspondent in a phone interview.

The Fox affiliate report breaks more news:

Large groups of teens causing trouble is one of the reasons corporate investment firm T. Rowe Price told The Baltimore Sun they are considering moving out of their Pratt Street headquarters. Employees have reportedly been harassed by groups of teens.

How many groups? They don’t say.

How many in the groups? They don’t say.

Harrassed by teens? Is that the new term for theft and assault on an epic scale? They don’t say that either.

Can’t have everything.

Some Baltimore readers said this was just the tip of the iceberg. Said Keith Scott Williams in the readers’ comment section.

Same thing happened when Trayvon was killed. There were 4 large groups of over 100 young people during St Patty’s Day trolling Federal Hill and the Point for retribution. One police officer requested over the mic that the National Guard be called out to control the groups but then was told to shut up by the Chief.

“It is not racially motivated? Seriously?” asked Bill Fisher.

Seriously.

Baltimore is just one of the more than 100 cities where black mob violence and official denials are documented in “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it.”

Readers of WND and “White Girl Bleed a Lot” are familiar with the frequent and intense racial violence and denial of it in Baltimore.

But what about Bloomington, Ill.?

Let’s go to the local paper called The Pantagraph: The headline sets the stage, but does not really prepare us for the rare journalistic event to come:

BPD warns against walking alone at night after attacks.

The story starts out slowly, with the usual reference to racially ambiguous crowds wreaking havoc:

Several recent reports of people being attacked by groups of young men have prompted the Bloomington Police Department to issue a warning about walking alone late at night and in the early morning hours.

In the news business, they call this the “nut graph:”

The suspects, police said, are traveling in groups of three or more and have been described as black men in their late teens or early 20s.

In Bloomington, like Baltimore, we don’t learn how many attacks there have been. Or how many people are in the mob. Other than lots and lots.

One resident whom the Pantagraph chose not to identify said she’s had family members and neighbors hurt in the attacks.

“There have been several and I don’t think all of them are being reported,” she said. “People need to be aware there is danger out there, and these groups are doing some crazy stuff. It’s an important issue and people are getting hurt.”

The paper reported several strategies to avoid black mob violence. Most involve staying inside and locking your doors. Not on the paper’s list is the one tactic people use that some say works the best:

“If you are in an area where you life is threatened when you walk out the door, you should acquire a Concealed Carry Weapons permit,” said Steve Kates, an Arizona expert in self defense and the host of the Phoenix talk show “A Call to Rights.” “Then you should learn how to use a weapon to defend yourself if your are confronted with a life-threatening situation. As many of these mobs are. Everything else is just begging for mercy. And that is the worst tactic of all.”

Kates urges his Phoenix listeners – and now people in Bloomington as well – to “refuse to be a victim.”

Meanwhile, this week in Omaha, a group of “rowdy” and “violent” and “dangerous teens” have taken over a local park. The local newspaper and TV and news stations did not report if race had anything to do with the presence of the teen mob.

Nor did they tell us how they knew so much about the ages of the people who are terrorizing this neighborhood park.

The reader comments are not much help: They are either absent or completely scrubbed of any reference to the race of the predators or the victims.

But we do know it has been happening for years. And the police say it is the neighbors’ fault for allowing it to happen because they now stay away from the park.

Another case of long term and intense black mob violence and lawlessness in a place we would not expect it?

Maybe they were part of the “gangs” of “20-30 black kids (who) had been harassing shopkeepers and customers, stealing etc., in local malls over the Christmas season,” WND reported in January, quoting a resident of Omaha. Her friend “quit not long after as she said it has become scary and no one from the property owners, police will do anything about it.”

In Omaha? Yes, Omaha.

From Louisville, a WND reader sends this along from WDRB News:

Black mob arrested in Kentucky attack:

Police say 18-year-old Brejon L. Ford and three accomplices approached a man and attacked him. According to the arrest warrant, Ford punched the victim in the face.

As the victim was walking away, police say one of the suspects hit him with a tree log.

Police say Ford and his accomplices then began hitting the victim several times in the head with their fists, all the while calling him names including “honky,” “cracker,” and “white trash.”
