Yes, Bob was on this weekend. The model is still bullish, although the near-term view will probably be limited somewhat on the upside by slowing growth and already high valuations. Bob reduced his estimate for S&P 500 operating earnings to slightly less than $50 for 1998. This reduction was the result of the likely impact caused by the SE Asia currency crisis.
