Paul, you are absolutely right about the government not setting the world price for gold, but they can and have in the past set its value
inside our borders and even made it illegal to own. There is nothing
stopping them from making a domestic and an international/trade
value for gold, at least none I can see. I am almost expecting some
kind of remonitization in conjunction with some kind of currency
parity revaluation similary to what the EU is trying to do. Unfortunately
my crystal ball has more snow in it than omens. Regards, Ron
